We are excited for Christmas as you can see from the video.

DJ has been drawing a LOT lately. He loves to draw cars all day long. I decided to publish a few of his works (with his permission of course).

 

 

Everyone please take the time to vote on Tuesday! We have to vote for more than the issues of war and economy we have to vote for morals. This president will most likely appoint new supreme court representatives. We cannot forget these imporant issues such as pro-life. I know for a fact that I have heard a babies heart beat inside of me as soon as 4 weeks after conception and that all of my children have very distinct personalities even in the womb. How can we even think of voting for someone who will allow these live babies (fetuses) to be killed. Don't be tricked. Choose life.

Well we have decided to get into the Halloween spirit around here. We had a fun pumpkin carving party with the cousins up here on Saturday night. The boys were so excited about carving a pumpkin when they saw ours that we carved theirs tonight. They probably won't last until Halloween but that is ok. DJ drew his out and Danny and him carved it. Brandon and I worked on his. They had a good time. DJ decided he could start wearing his costume now too. He has been holding out even though I told him he could wear it. He kept telling me he had to wait until Halloween, but he decided he couldn't wait any longer. Here are some pictures from tonights festivities.

We woke up yesterday morning and found that there was snow on the ground outside. It is too early for snow!! DJ liked the snow. He bundled up and went out to play in it as soon as he saw it. He is a winter boy. He loves the snow. We don't understand it entirely, but I guess he was born in the middle of the winter, so it fits. It has been so cold lately that we are afraid we missed most of autumn. Hopefully we get a few more nice days before this kind of weather sticks around.

Here in the King home we are big Phoenix Suns fans. Last night they played their first preseason game and lost to the Atlanta Hawks. With a new coach and a few new faces it will be interesting to see how the Suns do this year. Tonight they play the Utah Jazz, so it is on a local TV channel. We are planning on watching the game and hopefully see some good signs for the rest of the season.

DJ wanted to put a post about a fast car. This is the one he picked. It is a 2008 Chevrolet Corvette. It has an engine that can go up to 505-hp 7.0L V-8. DJ likes fast cars.

Tim ran a Marathon today in Logan, UT and we decided to go and support. He did great! He came in at about 4 hours and 9 minutes. It was beautiful weather and fun to see all of the excitement at the Marathon. Here is a couple pictures of Tim.

 

 

We went to a dinosaur park last night. It was so fun. The park is in Ogden. It is up in the mountains and there are all of these life size dinosaur models. They even have sound effects going. They have a museum there too where they have some robotic dinosaurs. Here are a few pictures from there. The boys loved it. Anna was a good trooper too.

 

We ran a Marathon Relay last Saturday where 5 of us each ran 5.2 miles to add up to a marathon distance. Overall our team did pretty well. Below are the results:
